School Experience

Data Structures and Algorithms

December - 2021

Pharmacy Management System

This was created way back in the first-year, first semester and I have used C programming language. It is a system with menu functionality. It provides for the following: Purchasing medication that calculates the total cost of the client's medication purchases. Add and store new medications in the system. Searching for medicines and displaying information about them, as well as revising existing medicines. Displaying all available medicines with their corresponding information, as well as displaying a daily sales summary and total.

Web Systems and Technologies

May - 2022

Website about the Beauty of Bohol

This was also created way back in the previous semester, and I used HTML to design it. I hope to be able to show you the results because I believe my professor was impressed. It includes various locations in Bohol with their most popular tourist attractions, similar to Carmen with its beautiful Chocolate Hills.

System Design

April - 2020

Queuing System for Moleyboley Salon

This one was created way back when I was Senior High School at Crista E-College, it's a system combine with a thesis research in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Senior High School-TVL Strand ICT Programming and Animation.

System Design

June - 2023

AMT Lab Borrowing System

For our final project in our major subject, our team of five members embarked on a challenging and exciting endeavor. I was assigned the crucial roles of designing and documenting the project. This experience turned out to be a significant breakthrough for me, as I wasn't initially confident in my ability to generate innovative ideas. However, as the project progressed, I surprised myself by developing a concept that not only met the project's requirements but also exceeded our expectations. The success of this project filled me with a sense of pride and accomplishment, showcasing my ability to contribute creatively and effectively to a team effort.

Numerical Methods

May - 2023

Numerical Methods

I did not expect to engage with this kind of numerical project, as I initially thought it would solely involve mathematical calculations using pen and paper. However, we were tasked with creating a programming solution for solving numerical methods. My contribution to the project involved developing the Bisection and Secant methods for calculating mathematical problems. The process was tough and draining, but I managed to complete it successfully. This accomplishment not only demonstrated my ability to adapt and apply programming skills to mathematical problems but also redeemed my failed grades from the midterm, showcasing my resilience and determination.

Operating Systems

April - 2023

Multilevel CPU Scheduling - Round Robin for each Level using Java

During our 3rd year, 1st semester, we were assigned a final task for our subject, which involved creating a complex numerical project. This was a duo task, making it particularly challenging due to its multilevel nature and the intricate algorithms involved. The project required extensive inputs and iterations for each level, testing our problem-solving and programming skills. Despite the difficulties, we realized that no obstacles are insurmountable when teamwork is involved. Together, we finished it and failed to redefence.

CpE Cognate/Track Course 1

May - 2024

Machine Vision - Java

Our latest programming project involved creating a variety of photo manipulation effects, filters, and facial recognition features. The challenge was significant, but our instructor allowed us to use OpenCV, which helped streamline some of the work and the complex algorithms and mathematical calculations involved. Despite this assistance, the project remained the most challenging task I have faced. Leveraging the latest AI features helped reduce the workload, but it still consumed many sleepless nights and much of my rest. Ultimately, I managed to defend and present the project successfully to my instructor. I am hopeful for its success, as I am immensely proud of what I have accomplished.

Hardware Project

2023 - 2024

Arduino X Assembly Language

Our course not only focuses on programming systems but also includes hardware projects using Arduino. Some of these projects have included a Sumobot, a door lock system, various sensors, converting Arduino code to Assembly Language, and an RC plane. Each project presented its own set of challenges, but this one tested us both mentally and financially. While software projects primarily stress your mental faculties, hardware projects can exhaust you on multiple fronts. Despite these hurdles, I managed to pull through successfully. I am determined to apply all the knowledge I have acquired from these experiences and give my utmost effort during my final years as a Computer Engineering student.
